The Breathe in, breathe out project (2017) is the artist’s re-examination of the body by working with every-day object, using fragile containers and water, changing their meanings contextually, altering the way an object is perceived and used and how they connect to the senses. Perfume bottles are introduced into this project as they convey sexuality as well as connect directly to the body. Scent conveys mood and feelings and also connect to the way we inhale and exhale, changing temperature and touch sensitivity. Perfume and perfume bottles therefore are what connect with the way we interpret physical objects and bring out the imagination of scents and senses.
